SINGAPURA – Encik Ralf Ohletz, naib presiden eksekutif untuk GHM (Pengurusan Hotel Am) telah meletak jawatan supaya beliau boleh mengambil jawatan presiden Regent Hotels.
“Ralf Ohletz telah memainkan peranan penting dalam menyumbang kepada reputasi GHM yang dicemburui sebagai penentu arah aliran global untuk industri perhotelan sejak kumpulan itu diasaskan pada 1992,” kata Hans Jenni, presiden dan pengarah GHM, pengendali hotel dan resort mewah yang berpangkalan di Asia .
“Saya mengucapkan tahniah kepada beliau atas pelantikan berprestij ini dan ingin menyatakan bahawa berdasarkan sumbangan cemerlang beliau kepada GHM selama ini, saya yakin dengan keupayaan beliau untuk mengembalikan jenama Regent kepada kegemilangannya dahulu,” kata Hans Jenni. "Saya doakan dia berjaya."
Ralf Ohletz menghadiri Sekolah Pentadbiran Hotel di Heidelberg, Jerman, sebelum melancarkan kerjaya hotelnya di London Hilton. Sebelum menyertai GHM, beliau juga kemudiannya bekerja di beberapa hotel terkemuka dunia termasuk The Oriental Singapore, The Mandarin Hong Kong, dan The Pierre di New York.
